A quiet Holiday

I managed to finish a pair of socks that I have been knitting on for a few months.  I like to keep a ongoing needlework project on my foot stool so that it is handy to pick up when I have some rare idle time.  Although I planted my zinnia's late this year, I am delighted with their bursts of color in my garden.  Zinnia's are very easy to grow and they reseed themselves so I would encourage you to plant them in your garden...and enjoy their simple beauty.
