Sour Dough Starter

Today I started on a new adventure in bread making.  I started a sour dough starter.  This should be interesting...
 
It sounds easy.  1/2 Cup of filtered water and 1/2 Cup all purpose flour.  Feed it this same mixture every 24 hours for five days.  Then remove one cup for a recipe or to discard and feed it again.  We shall see!
