It is cold and partly cloudy outside, homemade chicken soup is simmering on the stove, so this is a perfect day to curl up and knit. I put the finishing stitches on a pair of Firecracker Red socks and I now I need to start the second sock in the Plum Tweed to match my new pajamas I received for my birthday. For some reason, the second sock is always harder to start. It takes me a month or more to knit a pair of socks because I just do a few rounds in my spare time. Handknitted socks are a good *warm* thing!

A good day to curl up and knit...
It is cold and partly cloudy outside, homemade chicken soup is simmering on the stove, so this is a perfect day to curl up and knit. I put the finishing stitches on a pair of Firecracker Red socks and I now I need to start the second sock in the Plum Tweed to match my new pajamas I received for my birthday.
